GOOSSE Hugues

Hugues Goosse is research director at the Fonds de la Recherche Scientifique (F.R.S - FNRS) and professor at the Université catholique de Louvain (Belgium) where he teaches climatology and related disciplines. His research focuses on the development of climate models, the comparison between model results and different types of observations, and the application of these models to study past and future climate change. It focuses on both natural variations and human-induced climate change. More specifically, this recent work focuses on the interactions between sea ice and the ocean in the Southern Ocean, climate change over the past millennia and data assimilation methods in paleoclimatology.
